FAQs

What is brow lamination and how does it work?

Brow lamination is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure designed to give your eyebrows a fuller, lifted look. It involves applying a series of solutions to the brows that straighten, lift, and set the hair in place. The process typically takes about 45-60 minutes, and the results can last up to 4-6 weeks.

Is brow lamination safe?

Yes, brow lamination is generally considered safe. However, it's important to choose a licensed and experienced technician who uses high-quality products and follows proper safety protocols. Some people may experience slight redness or irritation after the procedure, but this usually subsides within a few hours.

Can anyone get brow lamination?

Most people are good candidates for brow lamination, but it's not recommended for pregnant or nursing women, or people with certain skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, or anyone going through hormone therapy.

What are henna brows and how do they differ from traditional brow tinting?

Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that uses natural henna dye to stain the skin and hair for a longer-lasting result compared to traditional brow tinting. Henna dye is derived from the henna plant and can be customized to match your natural hair color and skin tone. Unlike traditional tinting, henna can also be used to create a more defined shape and fill in any gaps in the brows.

Is henna brow tinting safe?

Yes, henna brow tinting is considered safe when performed by a licensed and experienced technician using high-quality, natural products. However, it's important to patch test the dye on a small area of skin to ensure that you're not allergic to any of the ingredients (patch test must be done prior to service, schedule brow consultation and mention the patch test). It's also recommended to avoid using oil-based products on the brows for at least 24 hours after the treatment, as this can cause the henna to fade more quickly.

How often should I get my eyebrows shaped?

The frequency of brow shaping depends on the individual's hair growth rate and desired look. Some people may need to shape their brows every 2-3 weeks, while others can go up to 4-6 weeks between appointments. Typically, 4 weeks is the average.

What is brow tinting and how is it done?

Brow tinting is a cosmetic procedure that involves applying semi-permanent dye to the eyebrow hairs to enhance their natural color and create a fuller, more defined look. The process typically involves cleaning the brow area, applying the tint to the hairs, and allowing it to develop for a few minutes before removing the excess product. Brow tinting can last 4-6 weeks.
